Back in Business

Not me, Roy in OOTS web comic. Finally resurrected. Hehe, I like that web comic. O-Chul still rocks.

Broke my rules yesterday and ate around nine in the evening. Omelette, quite tasty one, too. Here's the recipe:

Two eggs
Some cream
Basil
Ground black pepper

Mix together everything in a bowl or something, heat butter, oil or whatever you use for cooking in a small frying pan so you get a plate-sized omelette. Fry until the front has stiffed, serve hot. Yummy in a tummy.

Will try to finish Celia's profile this night, wrote quite much about her yesterday, but wasn't on internet then. It thundered yesterday and it looks like it will today too. Maybe. Hope not.

Tomorrow I have my reading and writing exams. Which me luck.

See you!

Await my return - it will soon come

Can anyone answer me when university begins? End of August? The same as for the gymnasium? Internet has betrayed me in this:( Have to continue my quest for knowledge in this when I've written this update.

Speaking of August, mum finally booked the tickets and she booked them to the third of August. So I come home quite soon! Your mischief-making days is over! I'll return stronger, faster, more vigilant!

Tired, and therefore melodramatic . Good night!

Sara

WTF?! Exams!?

Trying to get mum to pay for my ticket home... not really, but book my ticket, pay for it and then give her the money later. Soon I'm home, folks!!!! Missed me?

Meh. Mum's slow sometimes. "Don't now how to do", seriously:P

I have exams next week! Didn't see that coming... well, did, but not so soon. I just didn't realise it was so late already. Only two days left on college!!! Then summer and hopefully some small pieces of travel (Wanna see Hastings and Cornwall). Won't get a long trip with my best friend as I hoped but she may still come down.

Hmpf, mum's so slow. Next time I come around, I hope I've a ticket back home. See you then!

Sara

The voyage home has begun

And that was present perfect I think. No, I'm not going home but I'm beginning to plan the trip back. Waiting for my best friend's reply - hurry up, there!:P

You know that you've been too long in England when you begin to think ......@ hotmail DOT com. And I don't know how that happened.

I which the weather gods could decide the weather and let it stand by that; now it begun with very sunny this morning, then it quicky became cloudy, then sunny with sin clouds and now cloudy again. Meh.

College's fine, we were talking about and analyzed present perfect and past simple (verbs) and I asked my teacher, after the lesson, about mountains and deep seas. I'm planning to do some pre-research about a bit of everything, from mountain ranges to biology to the physics of birds to war and warcraft. Pretty interesting, uh? Well, see you!

Happy midsummer everyone!

Hope you have better weather than here, where it is cold and cloudy and only sunny in patches (I'll complain to the weather gods, they're awfully bad at planning: the mornings have been clear, but then the clouds come in the afternoon. Definitely bad planning) and I hope everyone enjoys their midsummer and dreams about the dream man.

I told my family here that we celebrate midsummer in Sweden and promised them I would show them little frogs and other dances, so I made a small may pole out of pipe cleansers and made a potato salad (recipe a bit down). So we all danced around the table where I had put the tiny may pole and then we ate potato salad with salmon and lots of fruits and cookies (ginger bread! A bit off season, but - it's ginger bread!). It was very funny everything.

Here's my englished recipe on potato salad:

lots of potatoes, preboiled

one, two yellow onions, chopped
mix those and put them in the fridge

sour cream
chives

mix chives with the cream

put the potatoes and the onions in the cream
put some mayo in with some salt and pepper
serve cold

It had too much taste of onions so be careful with those if you're trying it. Otherwise it tasted almost like a proper one.

My Fog story goes forward I've almost finished Conrad's profile. Was tired of him a couple of days ago and wrote the beginning of a story that maybe turns out to be a whole adventure, about a warrior called Halin and his mysterious companion called Eias. It's either hard fantasy or heroic fantasy, we'll see if I continue.

Well, have a happy midsummer! Sweet dreams!

Pancake queen

Apologise for the late update. Forgot last time I was at the net.

Hilarious conversation at the supper this evening. I had made a thick pancake in the oven. The boy had been and washed his hands after he had cut his pancake. All but me ate with their hands. I had a fork.

The mum: Good boy, now you're clean.

Me: At least in contrast to a certain young lady.

The Mum: Contrasting yeah. Both are a bit dirty.

Me: you all are. I'm clean!

The boy: Yeah, but you have a fork.

The girl: That's cheating!

Me: No, that's civilized.

The Mum: LOL

Later, when all but me has finished. I have a small piece left.

The girl: Can I have it?

Me: No.

She steals it anyway. Little thief:P

The characterisation in the Fog story goes forward, I'm working with Conrad right now. When I had a day off at Saturday, I wrote almost all of Madeleine's character profile, but was rather tired afterward. Yesterday was college day and after that I went shopping. Met that guy again, but I still don't know his name:P I bought a dress and a cowgirl strawhat. The hat was badly needed, because I don't have sunglasses and the sun is strong. The dress was rather nice too, blue-striped and light.

Well, I'll get lost on TVtropes a while now. Have a good time!

Complaints

Browsed student flats a minute ago, but you can't fucking apply for one until the confirmation of program has come!!! And it comes in the MIDDLE of JULY!!!!!! I want it now! I don't wanna wait ages!!!! Why can't it come sooner!

And everyone who sends chain mail or a mail I have to send to many people (which is the definion of chain mail I think) - don't. I don't like it and I won't send it to more people, especially if it's a cursed chain mail. I don't believe in those and I don't send them away.

And now it's cloudy and chilly - it was sunny a couple of hours ago.

Well, see you!

Sara

Hi

Suppose I have to say something...

...

Well, not much has happened:P. The weather is unsettled but at least I managed to take a walk when it was somewhat sunny. Tihi, it thundered this morning... that kept me awake, when I wanted to sleep. Slept very badly this night... as the night before... so I'm tired as hell now.

Read Neverwhere by Neil Gailman today, when I had a day off. It was good, I bought it ages ago (when I was in STHLM, my friend recommended it when we were in the SF bookshop), and I've thought even longer to read it. It was very good, nothing as I had expected it, but it's the first book by Gailman I've read, so...

Well, I'll probably write something in the Fog story tonight, has finally begun on Helen's character profile, although I haven't quite finished Robin's.

Well, now I'm planning to get lost on TVtropes for a while. Goodbye!

O-chul rocks!

Have just read the latest oots strip. O-chul rocks! And I bet the Monster in the Darkness will throw the phe-whatever-thingy into the snarl-thing, because he likes O-chul. We'll see.

Oh, and I write in English because I sit by the old laptop - mine has no internet. So I'll continue in English, friends.

Meh, traveling back to England was complicated: the flight I was supposed to take was fully booked (really, how is that possible? Aren't they keeping track of bookings?), so I had to go via Oslo. Played the tourist a bit at the airport there and took lots of photos (bought a memory card in sthlm), but at least I got back properly in the end although the taxi was more expensive than expected. Well, got some vouchers from SAS when they placed me on the wrong plane, so now I'll be travelling!

My laptop has its uses, though: I've been writing down the characters (well, only Robin's so far) and yesterday I wrote a prologue to the first book. Way to go.

College's fine, we had another speaking and listening test and it went quite well. My speech that was made up on the spot took exactly two minutes, and another speech I made today was close enough. It easied me a bit, but I'm still bad at it - speaking, that is. I could be better - I stutter a bit.

Had my day off today and was at college and town. I bought myself a pair of those gladiator sandals that is popular now - for less than £4! Look at that, Anna!:P And you said those black ones in sthlm was cheap.

Will go to bed or something - working day tomorrow!

See you!
