STHLM, here I come!

Yesterday was bank holiday again, and I had a day off, of some reason, after a very tiresome weekend. I'm going to catch a bus in less than an hour, according to my plans, so it's a wonder I sit here. With Bobby the Dog in my lap. I've taught the girl how to cheat in French knitting today :D. She became pretty good on it:)

Well, some time left, and a quick update is somewhat necessary:P Not. But I'm here anyway.

Haven't written anything on my story for a few days now, not since I finished with Georgina. Been too tired, been too busy, and anyway, I've the papers packed. Will buy a laptop in STHLM.

Been packing yesterday, one bag with almost all the things I will leave in Sweden. The things I'll bring back is in my brown school bag:P. I have some things still to pack, I'm waiting for the towel to dry.

Anyway, have to run, I'm hungry. Don't know if I can update in STHLM. We'll see, otherwise I'll have a tale on Saturday.

See you!

Bit sleepy

Ok, so I'm veeeeeeeery sleepy, then. Tired as Hell, in fact. I suppose everyone that is reading my blog is irritated of my  frequent in-dept descriptions of my sleeping habits, but as sleep cover around a third (or something) of one's life, my sleep is, IMO, fairly important.

:P

Ok, I went to bed half past ten last night, which is late for being me (blame TVtropes, I think it was). However, I couldn't sleep until much later. When I finally fell asleep, I woke up at midnight because my stupid alarm clock began to ring. My fault, I forgot to check the time after the electricity had been cut. It took hours to fall asleep after that. It was hot in my room, so in the early morning hours I woke up again. I fell asleep again fairly quick, but then the stupid alarm rang again, as it was time to get up to work. Has been a zombie the whole day and still is. Fortunately, it has been a quiet day.

The boy had his birthday party today, in a model village, so I was home and kept an eye on the house. After that, we all went to afternoon nap, so it was fairly quiet even after they came home. Tomorrow, the girl will have hers. Ater that, we seems to be going to an Italian restaurant. Then only Monday left, and then STHLM! Yay!

Haven't written on the Fog story today, because I've been too tired. Finished Georgina's profile yesterday, the first homosexual character I ever written about, if I recall correctly. She's awesome:) Maybe I'll write tomorrow, if I'm not too busy.

Anyway, time to bed.

Sometimes grammar is completely crapsack

Hmpf, Malin thought I've already been in STHLM. One week to go there! I'm still struck here.

Well, the sentence that confused her was "Until I've finished with them, I've been in STHLM and bought myself a laptop." I still think it would work, but it's not perfectly clear, I realise. When I'm finished with them, I've been in STHLm and bought myself a laptop probably would work better. Well, the meaning was that I'll finish the profiles after I've been in STHLM. I'm not finished and I haven't been in STHLM yet. That matter settled.

Writing on Icarus's character profile now. He's quite cool. Eliot had a radical change of character in comparision to the first draft, but his profiled character probably works better.

Well, way to go!

See you!

At least some good things have happened

Sitting at a computer is probably NOT the best way of curing a headache and I'm tired as well. Hehe, drinking water from a cup I've had coffee in, it looks like dung water. At least it doesn't taste like dung. And it's cloudy and grey outside, not funny. It's not raining now but it has and it will probably rain again soon. And I've got homework from college and I haven't done it yet, and right now I'm too tired to try it.

Well, the good news is that it's my day off and I managed to take a walk when it was not raining. I slept to eight today, but is nevertheless foggy. And speaking of fog, I've finally finished on Cassandra the Witch's character profile and have begun on Eliot's. Seems like my momentary writer's block has been broken down. I'll continue with the character profiles, at least the important characters. Until I've finished with them, I've been in STHLM and bought myself  a laptop. Hooray.

Now, has anyone a cure for headache, a foggy mind and a dry throat?

Wanna go into hibernation

*Sniff* Seems like no one wants to help this poor aspiring writer. No one likes me!

Enough dravel from this wannabe emo. BTW, haven't written ANYTHING related to the Fog story since my last update. Still unsure on what to do.

Starving, of some very strane reason, because I ate two helpings half an hour ago and it was quite much on my plate. Ah, well, I'll just ignore it. Tummy playing tricks, I'm sure.

Took a shower and got a shock - the water was FREEZING. No temp at all. Ah, well, I survive:P.

Feels like I should go into hibernation: yesterday's morning, I half woke up a couple of time, enough to see that it was still half dark outside, so I thought it was early in the morning. Wasn't. I heard the kids woke up and make noises, so I looked at my alarm clock. 8.04. I slept very long. And this morning I slept and slept until the alarm on my mobile rang (I'm using the mobile and not my clock as wake up alarm - easier to change). That's unusual.

Met a guy yesterday, who I've talked with before, while walking back from college. Now I know where he works. Still don't know his name though:P. College was fine, we got to know our exam dates: last Monday in June and July the first for me. Pretty chill:P.

Got a mail from VHS, which confused me a bit, but now I know that the letter of acceptance from the unis comes in the middle of July. So long  we have to wait. Want my first choice to be accepted.

Have to work, see you soon.

Options

Have just eaten a very hard ice cream. Difficult. Very difficult. But I managed in the end and let us not talk about how hard it was to get it on the plate. It's veeeeeeery hot outside and I walk around in trousers. *Sight*

The Fog story. I haven't written anything today and will probably not do it, because one, I'm really tired as hell and two, I don't know if I do it in the right way - the best way to make the best story. The options I have is

  1. Keep doing caracter profiles. I have begun on it and t would be easy to get going, plus that I made a list of all the named characters in the first draft. Problem is that I don't know if that will be all characters in the story (it won't be, have to do other characters of hte Clouds and the battles) and that I don't know so much about the world they live in.
  2. I could make that world. Then I would know a great deal about organisations and other things and I would be able to mix that knowledge with the character developement, so it should be done before the character profiles. Problem is, I have to do a lot of research, talk with people, search information on internet and library and so on. I don't think I'm able to it right now and have to wait at least two month before I can begin and I don't want to have to stop writing for so long.
  3. I could start to revise the story. I would really like that, because I have ideas on how to change the plot and I really prefer to write a story. Problem is, I need characters, I need a world to let them live in and I know I get ideas from writing the prework, so I can't really do it before I have a world in place and characters that live in it.

So you see I have some problems on what to do next. Advise, anyone? Is there someone out there that can help this aspiring writer?

Have to run to work now. Well, one advantage on living in the workplace is that I don't have to run, but you know what I mean.

See you!

Puppets

Hehe, not me. My collegue is setting chairs together for a puppet show or something. I'm sitting here and surf on internet to see if there has been any updates. Not many except Malin playing Blondinbella:P and OOTS, which had the Monster in the Darkness in it. Before that, I finally paid for my plane ticket. sorry, but I did not see the sms until today.

The kids make a film with their plush puppies, but I don't know how it goes. Now my collegue has taken over a roll, and the boy has the camera. Funnier:P

Was at college today, quite OK. Then I went shopping a bit. I know, I said I shouldn't buy more books but I did. Dunno how good they are.

Wrote a bit before college, Melinda the witch's character. Haven't finished it yet, will try today.

Made a fully acceptable ham stew (skinksas och pasta) yesterday, the kids liked it :D.

See you!

Bank holiday

Hehe, I'm sitting in my own little world, browsing on wikipedia and other sites I like, not noticing what's going on. It is a so far unexplained bank holiday, so I and the kids are off from school today. I'll have my lesson on Friday instead.

They were away today, so I wrote a bit and then began working: hoovering and ironing. I had ironed my clothes this morning so I'm dead tired of the iron. Yes, I'm washing my own clothes here, because it's easier in my opinion. I'm dead tired, too, by the way, luckily I begin afternoon tomorrow. And the day after, but I have college then. Sleeeeeeeep.

We were about to have barbecue when the family came back, but it was rainy so the food was prepared in the oven instead. As good, anyway. Hehe, it began raining the exact moment I stepped out the door for a walk this morning. I walked anyway.

Even though it has been a tired day for me it had been quite fun: I've joked with the mother and the girlfriend and laughed at the kids, particulary the boy:P. Ticklings and smacks on the bum:P

As for my Fog story, I've written the character profiles of Robin, Helen, Madeleine, Conrad and Alex, and briefly begun on Celia's. Will do hers tomorrow. Meh, in this pace I'm not ready with character profiles until end of May. My own laptop may help up the speed - will buy onte in sthlm.

I'm going to sleep now, badly needed. Good night.

Sara

Hm hello

Meh, missed Valborg yesterday cause as you know I wasn't in Sweden and they haven't it here in England. Well, spend the afternoon cleaning the kitchen and battle evil spiders. Spiders here are BIG, thin and nasty looking. Don't like spiders. I also have made some character profiles for my Fog story. Fasciating to see them take form on paper, writing things down really gives ideas and spices to a story.

Hehe, made two Mary Sue litmus testes for my main character Robin. On  the first, he was definietly not a Sue, but on the other he was a border case. I have to make him well rounded then.

Is tired as hell of some reason. Will go out after typing this, maybe it wake me up. Then I'll keep writing Conrad's, Robin's dad, character - or rather begin with it.

Well, have a good day.
