Finished work - REALLY finished it

Yep. My last day of work around here. Feels strange that I'm going home to Sweden in just three nights now. Strange but exciting. Then only one and a half week there and tehn down to Linkoping. Has managed to get a place - not my own, though, just a room. I'm feeling a bit like Anne of Green Gables, when she studies at Redmond. Hehe.

I'm waiting for my sister to finish her game of scramble, so that we can scramble too. Now something is going on. Hehe, I'm in the lead.

Today was quite ok, even if I was tired. I woke up early but rose from bet later than I thought. Anyway, I did some chores and then was in the playground with the kids and my colleague. I played around with them for a while and the girl got a new friend we played a catch game with. Then we had to go home because the boy was contradicting me when I told him to remain in my sight. At home, I made pizza.

Current points in scramble: Sara 167, Anna 40. I'm going to give it my full attention now, so good bye.

I'm hungry

Don't tell me I'm reusing headlines again, I think I recognise this one... too lazy to check it out, though. Oh, I'm a bit tired too, as I've worked two full days (well, this evening is somewhat free, but it's raining. The kids are with their mother overnight) and yesterday tried to finish Georgina's character profile but ended up playing spider solitaire and other games until late. Well, I haven't had much inspiration the recent days and not much time either, as flat-finding and last minute shopping and visits and everything. On the flat-finding part it looks a bit light... but let's just say I've given up finding a real flat as there aren't much time and most moving in dates are too late. But I've got one poitive answer.

We had a goodbye dinner for me this Sunday, at the cosiest place imaginable! Stonewalls and open fireplaces and the best of all, nice food. I've got pictures, will show them one day. Veeeeeeery nice. I ate breaded mushrooms with garlic sause for starters, seafood salad for main and vanilla ice-cream with hot fudge sause for dessert. I was quite stuffed afterwards, but nicely so. Took lots of pictures.
Town tomorrow to buying presents to all people... trying to get Malin to tell me what she would prefer, a supercute toy animal or jewellery. Hehe, she hadn't died, by the way, but her blog was in some kind of limbo, but has now been resurrected and is fine again. Welcome back, Malin!
I take the words "she hadn't died" back, she doesn't seem to want to have a present. Wake up!

Well, busy day tomorrow! Will answer the person with a room and then continue browsing around. See you!

Sara

Help...:(

Where is Malin and what has happened to her blog? Can't come in to it... Malin, you're wanted. Everyone who has seen her, report to me, Da Chief.

I've been with the mother and the kids at her flat over the night, and has been rewarded with a tired mind and a throbbing headache. Not fun. But we took at least a walk around the the town. We were at the countryside a bit along the river Thames and then went to a church, an Anglican one I presume. Not that different from a Swedish one.

My flat situation is as before but now I hear from my dear sister that Graflunds (one of the companies I've searched for) has sent a card or something. Well, we'll se.

Now, I'm tired and there's chicken around. See you!

I'm still seeking

I have showed my interest in a lot of flats and rooms now and the best I can get is an answer to come back on Sunday, in one case and next week, in another. Well, always something of an beginning. Luckily, the case is not lost and, as the optimist I am, I think I have good chances of finding a place in my hometown-to-be. Fate has never been that harsh to me:P. Enough self-satisfaction.

I'm not happy with my writing situation though - nothing written in a couple of days! Well, as I'm off tomorrow I maybe can find some space to do it, but right now I'm more tired than hell. Seriously. I'm going in half an hour, straight to bed.

I have had two days of full time work now, because I changed my afternoon with my colleague so I cn be with the kids at their mother's place at Friday, so I'm off tomorrow Friday and my usual day Saturday, which will be spent with the kids and the mother. Well, hopefully we do something fun, like visiting Oxford. I've given up Hastings - next time I'm in England, I'll hopefully have more energy to spare for some trips.

I have absolutely no energy now, so I'll finish. See you!

Torture session (hopefully) over

But probably not. No. But now, it seems. For a while. My toe is hurting. And I haven't got a flat yet. But I'm at least searching. I've got a membership in Bostadspoolen, which supposedly is there for helping new students to find some living. And the torture session wasn't quite over. Hehe. I survive. I'll call a person with a flat and ask nicely to rent it.

I was in town shopping today. Bought some presents, briefs and a couple of nightskirts. And a suitcase. I'm really going home, in less than two weeks now. Oh my. I bought quite fun presents to my sisters and some to the kids. It was rainy. But the man that sold the suitcase was quite nice - he had a sister in Sweden. Hehe, he had a shop in an alleyway, away from the main shop roads. But not long away. But I think it's myserious to walk there. Inspiration of my big story.

Speaking of story.......... No I haven't done much with my Fog story lately. I still have to finish Georgina's profile. But I have done some research on tektonic movements and other geological features for my map-drawing business. Quite interesting. Maybe I'll do more today.

Hehe, had to run away and fetch the camera, the girl had such a dirty face that I had to take a picture. They are a bit monkey-like today, luckily I'm not working.

Have to go, see you!

Sara

I deserve a rest

If I write my adress, a new registration or a new email I thing I'll die. I have been busy searching for flats since four o'clock this afternoon and I am tired and hungry, my face is aching and my head too. I deserve some rest now, I think.

Researching flats has at least showed me that the situation is not entirely hopeless, I can get a flat. I don't know if I wrote it the other day, but the dates for searshin on the site I am a member in, is up and all flats I can get now from them are left overs, except the corridor rooms but they seems non-existent. Well, if one option isn't available, you take another one. Hopefully, I get a place called my own. In some time.

Otherwise, it has been a surprisingly calm day. I was in charge, supposedly for the whole day, and the kids woke up as usual. But they came up with the idea that the kids should first go to the town with the fader and girlfriend, quite early, and there (I think) met their mother who took them to her place over the night. So the only thing I really needed to do today was food, some cleaning and taking kare of hte kids in the morning. Now I'm guarding the house - not that I'm tempted to go out, it's raining. As usual.

Well, now I'm going to find some food, I'm starving. Good night.

Sara

17th of August!

Thanks, Pia. So I'm beginning my university time 17th of August, which is two weeks after I come back to Boden. Peh, have to have a flat somehow. Darn. Sorry Annso, I definitely miss your party, I'm in a damn hurry by the look of it. But that's cool.

Have to finish Georgina's character soon, haven't done it yet. Not that she's particulary difficult, but I haven't had any inspiration and have been so damned tired the last week. No lie-ins except for yesterday, which I lost somehow due to my sleeping patterns which are stupid:(. But I survive. As always.

Hmpf, because I have an afternoon off I may go and write a bit on Georgina's character, but I'm tired still. We'll see what I do. But I'm not in a mood for sitting any more on my blog, so bye.

Take care!

Sara

Sunny/unsunny?

Should probably have been cloudy instead of unsunny.

....

Whatever.

Have said yes to my place at university - and congratulations to my sister, who also got a place:P Way to go. Now I only have to wait for coming back home and sort things out - I still don't know when the term begins.

I'm sitting and eating a meat mince pie that I did yesterday with the mother's assistance. I also did my famous mushroom sauce with onions and tomatos and the girlfriend did some roasted vegetables, so we had a nice meal yesterday. Following conversation between me, my colleague and the kids took place before we begun, quite hilarious:

The boy: What's that?

Me: Meat mince pie.

The boy: Is it a pie?

Me: Yes.

The boy: Is it really a pie?

Me (getting slightly impatient): No, boy, it's a pizza.

The boy (turning to the girl): See, it's a pizza, Sara said so.

Me and my colleague: *laughing in resign*

Me to my colleague (shaking my head): Kids don't understand sarcasm. (To the kids) I was only joking, it's a pie.

Despite that, the pie was an success and because I had done most of the food, I didn't need to wash up the dishes.

Finished Icarus profile yesterday and will begin Georgina's today, after I've been in town. Have to buy a couple of things, including batteries to my camera, but I want to eat first and then write another email. Don't know whether or not it's going to rain, it is sunny now but clouds lurks at the horizont - as it does most of the time these days.

Well, see you later!

Sara

Where I have been?

Sorry Malin, I know I've been distant a bit, I've been writing on my Fog story (almost finished Icarus's character profile - only Georgina's left of the ones handwritten and I found the IC list (but not my whole character list) so I'm fairly proud:D).

It's ten and I'm tired - and I'm working tomorrow. So why am I here? Because my sister sent me a text (sorry Anna, I didn't see it until around an hour ago) that the acceptance from university has come.

I'M GOING TO LINKOPING, FOLKS!!!

My first hand choice, too. Will say yes when I'm less tired

Well, good night!

Sara.

Can't the weather decide what it want to be?

I finished Cassandra's character profile today and begun to write down Eliot's; I managed to write down everything Ii've written in hand before, so hopefully I can finish him tomorrow. After that, I only have Icarus and Georgina left. Yay:D

The weather has been very unsettled today - more unsettled than usual that is. It has rained, not just drizzling rain but extremely much. Then it stopped pouring (it never rains but it pours, you know) and it was sunny for a moment. Then it begun to rain again, with thunder this time. Luckily, it was sunny when I had to pick up the kids. Now it's raining.

I read an exellent article about fluency in languages on Impishidea, which summed up things quite well. I was thinking about my big story (not the Fog story) and its languages. Shall work on it soon. Need to buy a book about geography and geology first...:P

When the kids were away for their sport lessons this evening (the boy do football and the girl trampolining (SP?) I cleaned up under the sofas in the TV room. I found three buried treasure chests, a couple of mummys in which one was an Egyptian pharao, a battalion zombified spiders and... well, almost. I found a lot of missing things at least and a hell lot of rubbish that went straight to the bin. At least I won against the room, it was quite nice when I wa finished.

Has anyone except me seen The Little Mermaid III: Ariel's Beginning? Well, it is actually good, I have a fond spot for rebels that do things because they believe in it and I also think that Disney is great for showing kids that culture is important and worth fighting for, even if the government surpresses it. I always become touched at the end of LMIII.

Yes, I am a great Disney fan and think most of the films is great. I even sings the songs from The Lion King days long. Anyone dare to disagree?

Anyway, good night. Have a good time!

Sara

What the hell am I doing here?

I am tired. Wonder why. Had an unplanned lie-in because the kids were with their mother this night. Then I got up, made myself breakfast (no muesli, so I had to eat frosties - was too lazy to do porridge) and made an apple cake. The family come home with lots of fruit yesterday, after picking it somewhere. So now we have the fridge filled with strawberries, gooseberries, blackberries and strawberries. Throw in some cherries and there's still some apples lying around since tha last shopping, and you've got a complete picture. There will be lots of fruitcake and pies and such this evening, apparently. Well, not complaining.

We had chicken soup AGAIN this lunch. When I come here, I loved chicken. Now I'm dead tired of it. Want falukorv. FALUKORV. At least I can spell it.

@Anna - waterskiing. If you could wait until I come home, i would like to try too.

I have my computer on and is writing on Cassandra's profile. And no, I'm actually sitting at the English computer. Yes, now I'm officially a nerd. Won't finish Cassandra this week I think. Darn.

Well, have a good time. See you!

Sara

Exams over

Finally, college is over but I have yet to feel the impact of it, though I almost cried when we said goodbye (almost, being me that is). Now, I have a working weekend and after that I'll see what I plan, whether or not I can move my fat ass around the country. One month left.

I think I did well in the exams, dunno how much sense I made though, particulary in writing and speaking. Hopefully, and I thing I do, I'll pass and get a Cambridge certificate. Yay.

Is it just me, or is it brighter outside despite the clouds? Hmm.

Don't do much, I'll see how much I can write on my Fog story today. Wrote surprisingly much this Wednesday, seeing that I had both lesson and exam. Yesterday is another story entirely, I'm still stuck with Melinda's relationship with the other characters. Well, well. On the upside, once I finish with Melinda, I have only four of the written profiles left and then I'll tackle Hannah the Guardian. With my writing pace, that won't happen until I'm back in Sweden.

Well, let's see if I can write something now. Have a happy summer!
